Frequently Asked Questions

What is an LP Vault?

An LP Vault pools SOL from multiple depositors to provide liquidity for a perpetual trading market. When traders open leveraged positions, the vault takes the other side. Think of it as being the house — you earn when traders lose.

How do I earn yield?

You earn in three ways: (1) When traders close losing positions, those losses flow to the vault as profit. (2) Funding rate payments — traders with open positions pay periodic funding fees. (3) Trading spreads — a small fee on every trade.

What are the risks?

Your deposit can lose value if traders are profitable overall. For example, if a trader makes a winning trade, part of that payout comes from the vault. Each vault is independent — a loss in one market does not affect another.

How does depositing work?

Enter a SOL amount and click Deposit. Your native SOL is automatically wrapped and deposited into the vault's LP position on-chain. You receive vault shares representing your ownership percentage. No manual token wrapping needed.

Can I withdraw anytime?

Yes. No lockup periods, no cooldowns, no penalties. Click Withdraw, enter an amount, and your SOL is returned directly to your wallet. The amount reflects the current vault value — which may be more or less than what you deposited.

What is Share Price?

The value of one vault share in SOL. When the vault profits, share price rises — each share is worth more SOL. When the vault takes losses, it drops. It's the key metric to track vault performance over time.

What is TVL?

Total Value Locked — the total SOL deposited by all users combined. Higher TVL means deeper liquidity and more stable performance, as risk is spread across a larger pool.

Which vault should I choose?

Each vault is tied to a specific perpetual market (LIQUID/SOL, Buttcoin/SOL, PENGUIN/SOL, etc.). Higher volume markets generate more fees but may have larger swings. You can split deposits across multiple vaults to diversify.

Risk Disclosure

LP Vault deposits are not guaranteed and can decrease in value. You are acting as the counterparty to leveraged traders — if traders are profitable, your deposit will lose value. Each market vault carries independent risk. Past performance does not indicate future results. This protocol is experimental software on Solana mainnet. Only deposit funds you can afford to lose entirely. This is not financial advice.
